"Absolutely — I’d keep your tone straightforward and fair, while making the review flow a little more naturally:
This hotel served my needs well as a basic place to stay. The location makes it an excellent and affordable alternative to staying in central Amsterdam, where a comparable hotel could easily cost three times as much. It’s conveniently located about midway between the airport and the city center, and the hotel is only about a one-minute walk from Sloterdijk station.
The room was no-frills but comfortable, and the included breakfast was fine. Overall, it was a good value for the price.
I had two complaints. First, there was no mini-fridge in the room, which I was surprised by as I consider that fairly standard these days. More importantly, the room temperature was an issue. It never managed to get above 19°C (about 66°F), and the thermostat kept shutting itself off. For me, the room was simply too cold.
Despite those issues, the convenient location and reasonable price make this a good option for a short stay if you’re looking for something practical rather than luxurious."
