Friendly bed and breakfast
This was a 2 day trip for me. The hosts were quite accommidating. The room was comfortable. And the price was right.

Location a few minutes walk to rail station and bus stops for services to Eyemouth, Seahouse and when tide is out to Holy Island. Lovely welcome and excellent hospitality. All features were considered with likely requirements from guests super.

Brilliant guest house!
We stayed at Cowrie guest House for 3 nights. Ruth and Ian were very welcoming. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The house itself is beautiful and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was amazing! As well as the usual cooked breakfast there was a special to choose from every day as an alternative. I had scrambled eggs on a croissant one day and french toast with bacon and blueberries on other days. All delicious! We would not hesitate to stay here again if back in Berwick.

The Cowrie Guest House is *the* place to stay if you're visiting Berwick. Ian and Ruth are terrific hosts. They're incredibly friendly and accomodating people. I left early for a hike one morning and they prepared a take away breakfast for me separate from what they normally prepared for breakfast. The house is beautiful, clean, and cozy. It is also easily accessible to the train station and walkable to the rest of Berwick. Ruth also has a business crafting beautiful sea glass jewelry--definitely worth a look. I'll certainly look to be staying with Ian and Ruth the next time I'm in Berwick.

Recommended
Having travelled by train the location was ideal being only a couple of minutes walk away. Ian and Ruth the owners are very welcoming and provide a wonderful breakfast selection. The room was extremely comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep after exploring the town and surrounding area.

Just what a guest house should be.
Just what a guest house should be. Very comfortable room with a great en suite shower room. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order using quality local ingredients. Many thanks to Ruth and Ian for being such great hosts. Hope to see you again soon.

Great friendly guest house
We stayed here for 2 nights.. the guest house is in a great location and the room was lovely. The owners were great and friendly. Breakfast was perfect and for the price we paid the whole experience was amazing.. 😊

Superb!!
Absolutely stunning b & b a very short walk from the railway station. A really cosy and extremely comfortable room was much appreciated, and very little exterior noise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts really welcoming. I really hope we can return one day!

Cowrie was a good stay well run and small things thought out to make the stay even better. Ian and Ruth have good people skills. Will defiantly go back if we stay in the area again.

Pleasant flying visit!
Owner very friendly and helpful and the facilities are good. Only complaint was some road noise as I was at the front of the house. Decor was clearly thought about and fitted in with the town.

Better than a hotel
I was very impressed with the the standards of this house and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. I have stayed in a few hotels and this was by far the best sleep I’ve had in a bed away from home very comfortable. Loved all the little thing ever down to having a small bottle of milk in the fridge for your room excellent and less plastic has to be good. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place.

Beautifully clean. Great location
Room & en-suite were lovely-beautifully clean & tastefully decorated. Ian & Ruth were very friendly & helpful with some very thoughtful touches such as fresh milk for each room. Good location, good choice of breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Overnight in Berwick
Comfortable one night stay en route to Edinburgh. Friendly welcome from Ian who helped sort out where and when to park. Tip - from 4.30pm you can park outside until 10am the next day, if you can get a space. Otherwise it’s a free car park nearby. Immaculate room - very clean and neat, we were in room 4. In fact the whole house is immaculate. Good nights sleep, the shutters really dampen any noise from the road and the curtains ensure it’s nice and dark. Nice breakfast and a good chat with Ruth who gave us a few suggestions of what to explore in Berwick for the couple of hours we were staying in the morning. All in all a great little guest house.

Amazing Guest House
We had an amazing stay at the Cowrie Guest House. The location was great for exploring Berwick. The room was really clean and well presented, and the bed was very comfy. Our favourite part was the breakfast where there was a wide selection, as we stayed here for 3 days it was great to be offered something different each day. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating. In the current situation the accommodation felt safe and clean, they had implemented adequate social distancing measures and had hand sanitiser in the rooms etc.

Best Guest House in Berwick
We stayed at this lovely family run Guest House for one night and we where made to feel very welcome. We were provide with everything we could possibly need, the room was excellent the location was excellent Ruth and Ian couldn't of been anymore accommodating during our stay we will defiantly be returning.

The owners are really nice and cooked a lovely breakfast. The location is central and fairly quiet despite being on main road (which is not busy). Our room was clean, but a little cramped. I think this is to be expected in B&B in Berwick though, so no complaints.

Berwick b&b
Albert the owner was there to meet us and tell us about room, breakfast and local places to eat and possible places of interest. Room was comfortable and bed was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Would recommend this small and friendly B&B and will use again when next in Berwick.
