"Always good staff are great !"

"We had a lovely stay at this quiet and peaceful place. Our room was cleaned twice, and the staff even left cute notes on the bed made from bamboo sticks — such a sweet touch! The restaurant served great dinners, and the Lombok curry was the best dish we had in all of Indonesia. The dessert was below average, but everything else was wonderful. The open shower design can attract a few insects, but room service responded quickly and solved the issue. Everyone was super kind and friendly. The beach...

"Beautiful location on the water. Room were nice size & clean with balconies with ocean views. Rooms with private pool available or use the shared pool. There was no by there when I was there in mid January but it is wet season & likely to rain. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner and is very convenient as there is not much around hotel."

"Great resort, quiet, clean and romantic. Good food and adaptable to dietary needs etc. Scenic beach with big waves although for swimming or souvenirs it is best to go to the other nearby beach using the excellent free shuttle service. Bed is comfy, with good in room facilities including fridge, hairdryer and nice toiletries. Lots of lounging options around gardens and pool. Stunning scenery."

Die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber. Betten hervorragend. Gute Restaurants. Schöner Strand mit ausreichend bequemen Liegen. Das Meer (mit hauseigenem Riff) leider total vermüllt. "Gorgeous hotel. Beautifully designed and a little oasis. Lovely charming staff. Rooms are spotless, minimalist and tasteful. We were in one of the bungalows and the indoor/outdoor bathroom was fabulous. The pool was great. Just big enough and a lovely design, warm, sunbeds and umbrellas around it, towels provided. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant a couple of nights and it was very tasty. The area around is partly village / partly scrubland. The hotel organised scooters for...

"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Modernisierung und ein Internetupgrade vertragen, nichts desto trotz ist der Stil des Hotels und die Anlage, besonders der Poolbereich, wunderschön und das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr groß. Die Sauberkeit und das Personal sind ausgezeichnet und extrem freundlich, es gibt dort nichts zu bemängeln. Gerne wieder!"

"After reading the great reviews about Amber we were still expecting to be mildly disappointed. This was definitely not the case! Food was incredible, rooms were awesome, and staff were so friendly they made you feel like family. It’s not a 5 star hotel chain experience, but that’s not what you go to Lombok for. If you love the beach, salt water, and lazing by a pool at a resort with a stylish / rustic beach design you’ll love Amber. "
