"Excellent restaurant"

"Do not use the postcode alone as it takes you further up the road to the wrong property. Only stayed for 2 nights while we did the big hike marathon but the property was very nice, it could do with a little TLC for minor things on the decor but nothing that really bothered us. Very close to Bakewell & a lovely pub over the road with nice food & service. Bit tight on parking but we managed to get on no problem. All in all a lovely stay & would like to return again."

"The hotel is having building work done which was not disclosed Drilling and hammering started at 730am Do not visit the hotel!! Terrible noise and no one at reception until after midday "

"My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb."

"Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open."

"This is a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful old property full of charm. Our bedroom was the best we have ever stayed in. The food is exceptional and even includes a packed lunch. Beautiful walks straight from the door. The staff are all charming and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here"

"We arrive a little bit early but good news room was available.drove round the back of the building on your right was staff accommodation well what a sight that is Brocken window frames.windows that looked like they had never been cleaned , right eye sore. luckily we wear not staying in them .our room was just past them basic but showers looked new .coffee and tea and water in room . I have to wear a c -pap mask at night because I have sleep apnea. There is no plug socket any were near the beds...
