"We have stayed at The Standard many times. This trip was an anniversary get. way. The staff are all wonderful, every person you meet is friendly and professional. We had a small problem and the duty manager Sanya went above and beyond to fix it. There can always be issues but it's how the hotel deals with it that makes a difference. The Standard is a very cool, very clean and wonderfully located hotel. There are hundreds of things to do on your doorstep. Will definitely return"

"A small, quiet hotel. The rooms are small, but it's a Victorian building. Our room overlooked the garden. The bed and pillows were comfortable. This time we got to stay in one of the new refurbished rooms- much quieter as not overlooking Tottenham Court Road and very comfortable.
