"Everything was perfect Great breakfast Lovely hosts Wonderful room Amazing location"

"I had liver and onions for evening meal. It was over cooked as the liver was crumbling as I ate it. The bed was uncomfortable ..mattress was cheap and the bed wobbled every time you moved keeping my wife awake as I moved in the night. Sue, manager was brilliant , very attentive and polite."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our night at Cleatham Hall. Very pleasant older house with all modern conveniences."

"Nice quiet room with shower. Freshly decorated and overall an enjoyable stay. Food was excellent, as was the staff who were friendly and helpful. Thank you."

"Un accueil très chaleureux par les propriétaires du lieu qui s’occupent eux-mêmes des chambres, très propres."

"Comfortable room. Excellent food in restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful"

"Pam and I were made very welcome and didn’t feel like outsiders at all. Brilliant decor and comfort. I would highly recommend Oliver’s Guesthouse Peter Finbarr-Smith"

"Spacious room , very clean , pleasant helpful front of house , quiet great nights sleep , 5-10 min walk to airport depending on how quick or slow you walk , plenty of car parking ( daily charge for parking) it's not a thousand pound a night hotel or a five pound a night b&b but a fair priced mid market value for money hotel"

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

"Pet friendly, clean rooms"

"The hotel is good in concept, but let down by maintenance and provision of kitchen items. We had 2 rooms with kitchen with 2 people per room. 1 room had only 1 set of dishes and cutlery. Neither kitchen sink had a plug. No dishcloth or brush for washing dishes. Hotel provided tea bags, coffee, milk but no sugar. Body wash dispensers in shower were not refilled. Bathroom light in 102 had faulty motion sensor. One room had no bath towels provided. Bathroom door in 102 would not close. Decent,...

"Room dated paper peeling off, wash basin poor at best. No breakfast, television reception terrible, The whole hotel could do with a good clean and decorating. Drinks not at the price's stated."

"Ideal for what we wanted. Breakfast was really good too."

"Nice hotel very good staff room was spacious and comfortable breakfast was good bit noisy from Road in the morning but that can’t be helped otherwise a very good stay would recommend ."

"Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween. The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building."

"The best place to stay in Scunthorpe. Offers easy access and is very clean."

"Clean rooms with staff always available. Would stay again"
