"The accommodation was clean and spacious. The decor is quite dark, but probably because of the dark beams. The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. I understand the stafff are busy, but a simple’hello, we’ll be with you in a minute’ would be nice. We didn’t see any members of staff as the breakfast is a completely self service buffet. "Great stay, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, AC, had everything we needed, liked the design of the rooms and hotel. Only note would be that the pillows weren’t great - too soft and uneven."

"Room was fairly new and clean. A little too hot during the night but the window did open slightly. Just to note the room is part the church which we didn’t realise until we got there. Right next door the bells were ringing every 15 minutes on the evening, then started again at 8am and lasted longer in the morning to call for service (it was Sunday). "We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."

"The location of the hotel is just opposite to the bus stop which is perfect for us. The hotel ia like a boutique hotel, very nicely decorated. The manager Ian and Christian is very friendly. The room is very clean and tidy and we had a wonderful stay."

"The room was good in size and decor , garden room suite. We were on the ground floor the room above us you could hear everything even the person snoring , the floor must have been floorboards and we could hear everything, This woke us up and continued throughout the morning!"

"Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

"Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome Would definitely stay again"
