"I loved my stay at The Grove. The staff were welcoming, delightful and helpful. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. The bed and room were comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The garden was peaceful enough to sit out and read with a cuppa.
My only gripes were the plumbing issues in my room, and it would feel safer if the hotel offered secured WiFi."

The only thing was that it needed was for the bath was the safety handles so we could get in the bath and a rubber mat when having a shower or a bath
Also they should have a ramp for wheelchair users.

"Good breakfast general staff (bar restaurant etc) excellent. However front desk inefficient & duty manager CALLUM was rude & dismissive . With that attitude he has no future in hotel management. Front desk were super efficient in taking unauthorised payments from credit cards but not so good in refunding!! Hotel overall appearance tired in need of redecorating throughout.
Large cracks in outside walls. This is probably due from recent cliff face collapse.
Not up to Marriott standard & would not stay again. Overall not an enjoyable holiday."
