"Clean room. Quiet. Very good breakfast selections and coffee available 24 hours. Good location for getting on freeway to Bay Bridge to San Francisco. Lots of eating options nearby. Lovely place to walk just a couple miles west at Marina park, with walking paths and views across the bay to San Francisco. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We have stayed here often and will be back on next visit to area. BART is within walking distance."

"The ad I saw said it had a restaurant.. no it does not it has a "grab n go" counter store which is VERY PRICEY 3 donuts and a choc milk $26.00. Check in staff are not very personable, water was not provided at check in was told to come back later and when I did they wanted to charge me for it. 3 people checked in for the double bed room but it was only set up for 2. 3rd person had no towels no cups."

"I stayed at the doubletree Marina Hotel for 4 nights and I had a really good experience. The view by the bay was amazing. The boathouse restaurant had a decent amount of food selection. I do kind of wish there was more food selection closer but its only about a 20 minute walk or a couple minutes drive/uber if you do want to get into town and get some other food. The amenities were nice - pool was always a good temperature and small but really warm hot tub. The sauna was a nice touch as well....

"Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again. The entire place is a bit dingy and odors linger, the bathroom/bedroom layout is awkward and made opening and storing suitcases difficult, and the breakfast was mediocre and always closed early. The location was convenient for getting in/out San Francisco and we appreciated the number of close restaurants and shopping. "

"The hotel is nice and comfortable. I stayed on a weekend, and the hotel was fairly crowded. I was given a room on the third floor with a window that faced the frontage road and freeway.
