"Our room was very clean and the young man at the front desk was very friendly. The frustration we had was that the manager was supposed to call us and never did due to a scheduling issue. We had paid for a lakeview patio/balcony room and they didn't have any with 2 Queen beds available when we checked in. "I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in."

"Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat."

"The room and beds were clean and comfortable, we were so amazed and delighted to find a room with 3 queen beds!! What a bonus! The staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. Great location and good value. The only small thing was the breakfast, nothing fancy, just a light continental breakfast--though they did have a waffle iron. We ended up getting McDonald's, across the street, for breakfast."

"The lakefront room was newly redecorated and very nice. The shower was hot and good water pressure. The pool was not opened yet (since outside) and the hot tub also was not opened and may not be anymore either. We loved the view of the lake. It was a good view and place to relax with our dog. One note is that the beach was not pristine as the photos - it needed some attention to make it a place to layout and kids to play on beach."

"The hotel is dated and could use some renovations. It is located right on the shore and offers direct access to the beach. There is also a fire pit on the patio. These features helped compensate for the hotel’s somewhat worn condition."

"Smelly- air fresheners so strong trying to hide the must and mold smell. We left and asked for money back. Ty to front desk for assistance. They also agreed the room was terrible."

"check in was nice. friendly staff. we brought ferry tickets and they were able to call a shuttle bus to take us to the ferry. we came as a big family. my room was ok but one of the rooms outlets were not working. the pool was clean. breakfast was adequate."

"I rented an Accessible Room, I am a Bilateral AKA traveler. There was a shower but the hand held shower head I could not reach if I could have used the bathroom! No wall fold down chair or shower removable chair. When questioned staff they stated that they meet ADA requirements! Yet they have violated every clause of ADA, false advertising. I could not use there breakfast amenities due to no room for someone in a wheelchair or for that matter a walker would not get through their facilities! If...
