The Old House is located in thr very pretty village of Nether Stowey. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Coleridge suite overlooking the beautiful walled garden. Loved the historical connections with Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The breakfast was delicious with a good choice.

A home away from home
Warm hospitality; clean & comfortable Sarah’s Room with table and chairs; decent hot shower in large shower stall; great breakfast; beautiful garden. WiFi strength was great but internet connection was sporadic. Hosts are working on it. Used cell connection. We’ll be back to try the other room. 😊

We stayed in a particularly large room, full of character, the Coleridge Suite. The Old House is well situated in the centre of a quiet village, and we could do walks in the Quantocks starting from there.

Beautiful B&B
The Old House B&B is a beautiful house with a large well tended and lovely garden. The Coleridge room was very spacious immaculately clean and comfortable with great views over the garden. The breakfast was delicious in a lovely dining room.

A lovely end to the Coleridge Way
We stayed for only one night in the Coleridge Suite, but would have loved to stay for longer. The suite is very large and extremely comfortable. It was a lovely place to stay after we had successfully completed our walk of the Coleridge Way. Out hosts, Manor and Ann, made us feel extremely welcome and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. There is ample parking and we had parked there in the morning of our day of arrival, before getting a taxi to our walk start point and walking back to the Old House. We didn't get an opportunity to explore the gardens as the weather wasn't great, but they looked stunning. It felt a bit of a shame to check out after only one night but I am sure that at some point we will be back to stay again.

Everything was perfect, it was just myself and a 4 year old, we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, breakfast was beautiful, will certainly return I'm sure.

Always a warm welcome awaits
This was our second stay at the Old House Bed & Breakfast in Nether Stowey, and on both occasions the stays have been welcoming and professional. The building itself is full of 'olde worlde' charm and the garden is beautiful. We shall be staying again.

The Old House is just beautiful and the hosts couldn’t do more to help. Excellent quality breakfast, very comfortable bed. All round fantastic. Couldn’t fault it at all.
