"Excellent hotel"

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. "We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience"

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Hotel is fairly central (less than 10mins walk to the harbour) but there the remaining City Gate is at the end of Broad Street which makes for a nice quiet street for the hotel to be on (even with a bar opposite). Room was clean with plenty of tea bags and instant coffee (and Biscoffs!). Beds were comfy. All the staff I dealt with (which wasn't many) were friendly and helpful"

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

"La struttura sembra un po' abbandonata a sè stessa ma, in realtà è un trasandato "voluto", girando per Bristol vi renderete conto che questa caratteristica fa parte un po' della città. "Nice clean hotel located in the middle of the Harbourside. Room was clean, bed comfy with a good shower. Breakfast was plentiful. Small grievance - did pay over £400 for 2 nights so assumed breakfast was included. Had to pay another £60 so nearly £230 a night is a little pricey.."

"A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. "

"Our room had obviously been refurbed fairly recently. The bathroom was pristine and extremely clean and well appointed. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good, with lots of choice of hot and cold options."
