"I stay was for only one night. The room was very clean, in the bed that I slept in was quite comfortable. The person at the front desk that checked me in was patient with me as I found a better rate online, and didn't give me a hard time at all. That first glance upon pulling up to the property, it didn't look like much, but the inside was very clean and updated."
"The place was being remodeled while I stayed there. Future travelers will very likely find a freshly renewed place with renewed details. The bathroom tile, trim and fixtures were freshly replaced. Funny thing is the bathroom door was the original which had not been refinished to match the new things they’re doing here. I think guests will be pleased when it’s done.
My room was clean!
For my part, construction noise began at 8 am. Breakfast is offered but the pancake machine was not working. No fresh fruit. Toast and couple of very hard, stale bagels. Offerings were limited. The hot breakfast items…biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs. Several guests complained they had run out of even the few things they were offering.
Check-in staff was friendly and efficient. The people charged with breakfast were not managing things well, seemed unconcerned when guests complained. "
"We did not eat there. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony with views of the water. Room had everything we needed except refrigerator. They do have plenty of ice. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Will stay there again."
"We arrived late night after driving for 7 hours to learn that they had overbooked and given our room away. They didn't have another suite to replace it, so our 6'3" exchange student that was traveling with us had to sleep on a little cot that could only be placed right in front of the bathroom door. There was a reason I had booked a suite with a separated area for him to sleep in.
After all that we didn't get to sleep until after 2am and then I was awoken at 6am by the guests above us. You could hear every single step they took. Needless to say all of this was frustrating, but the staff was nice and the room was clean. They definitely need to work on their system though, that allows for them to overbook and give away rooms that guests are planning on.
