"Staff all multicultural so don’t understand or haven’t been trained properly in the “spa” Hotel setting, Rooms dirty and need updating. Food is bland and expensive, chef had learning difficulties and just kept shouting. Staff actively turning people around so they couldn’t get in the supposed “ Ala Carte “ restaurant. "The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"All the staff that we came in contact with, reception, bar and restaurant were really nice and couldn't have been more helpful with a special mention for Vincent in reception who made us feel really welcome. Also the young lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely and nothing was to much trouble but unfortunately we didn't get her name. We usually stay here two or three times a year and look forward to continuing our breaks away with you."
