"During my recent four-night stay.
The Wi-Fi was consistently unreliable, and despite my reports, the issue was never addressed. I was further inconvenienced by an unannounced policy of changing credentials every Sunday, requiring a front desk visit to reconnect. Most critically, my account was prematurely deactivated on my third night. During this time, I could not contact staff because my in-room phone was non-functional. Additionally, my room keys frequently failed to work."

"The hotel is managed with a 24-hr check in counter with housekeeping on standby, Daily room cleaning or towel change is not provided unless if you request for it.
The breakfast provides a wide variety and the food was fresh and delicious.
One downside is the elevator crowd during peak hours where we had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive and a long time inside the elevator to reach our floor. The hotel tried to mitigate the situation by having a staff to operate the elevator but...

"Das Zimmer roch muffig/stickig, bis die Klimaanlage 2-3 Stunden gelaufen ist. Dann wurde es angenehm.
Der Pool ist recht schmuddelig und es war kein Genuss, darin zu schwimmen.
Das Frühstück fanden wir nicht ansprechend, weder in der Auswahl noch in der Qualität. Noch nicht einmal Rührei oder Spiegelei gab es.
Wir würden das Hotel nicht noch einmal wählen."

"Nice clean hotel with good clean king bed and pillows. Down side, it doesn’t have bar fridge to keep cold drinks.
Two nice restaurants in the same building and like a foodcourt in front of it. Ample parking spaces but full at late night, staff tried all out to guide and assist to get a space. Recommended for short stay"

The location is not the most convenient, especially for getting to the main shopping and transport areas, but we appreciated that the hotel provideds a complimentary shuttle service, which was very helpful.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"The Nest House is a small boutique hotel around a kilometer east of the old part (Chinatown/Jonker Walk) of Malacca. The hotel is off the main street, so it's quiet, and the property is well-designed and well-cared for. The staff are friendly and attentive and I had a great stay (just over a week). The hotel is shoes-off at the front door, and there's no gym or pool or restaurant or any of that. There are plenty of excellent food options nearby, including a shopping mall with a supermarket, and...
