"My stay at the Best Western at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY was very disappointing. The mattress in my room was absolutely horrible, one of the worst I have ever slept on. I asked if something could be done about it, but nothing was ever resolved during my stay. The rooms are very outdated, and in the afternoon I had cold water in the shower, which is not what you expect after a long day. Housekeeping was also very poor. They forgot to replace towels, and I learned that you actually have to request room cleaning even if you are staying five nights. What made it worse was the attitude at the front desk. Every time I asked for help, the response was very defensive instead of helpful. There was no effort to work with me or solve the issues. The manager was also nowhere to be seen the entire time. Overall this hotel seems very poorly managed. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else."

"Heater was incredibly loud. Had to turn off. Needed to use business center but computer was not able to be used. No one offered to help. Then there was a couple in the room next door who were too loud with their excitement in each other for well over an hour. My dog was with me and she could not calm with all the commotion. I went to the desk at 1:30 and they wouldn't let me check out early. Charged for both days anyway. "
