"Good location with restaurants and a museum nearby. Very clean. Ample street parking nearby. I would not choose this hotel again for one reason -the noise! My room overlooked the street. There was a bar across the street and there were rowdy customers spilling out late on a Sunday night that lasted for a while, then there was the traffic driving by and the garbage trucks that woke me in the morning. The windows are not soundproof enough so it was difficult to sleep. Otherwise a very nice place...

Just know this unit is close to the intersection so you can hear all music and loud cars, I probably would have asked for a higher floor but we stayed only one night. They do give you ear plugs in tgr room so I guess this was the hint of things to come for the night. I used them and eventually went to sleep. "I had no light switch in the room had no idea how to turn the lights on and then when I figured out there is no main switch only two small lights worked. The big light in the middle did not work. The phone on that same power source was not working either. The room was very warm when I got there and it took a few hours to cool down and was not the most comfortable. In all honesty I also did not report any of this until I checked out."

"The staff was fantastic. We had a problem with the AC in our room and they moved us to another room very quickly. The hotel went through recent renovations and it looks great. Breakfast was also good. Pricing is very reasonable. Totally will recommend it."

"The room was not especially clean (around faucets, sink, shower, couch, floors). The light on the bathroom (over the mirror and sink) was not properly secured to the wall. The couch was covered with stains. The shower floor was slimey feeling. They apparently allow dogs and we had a neighbor who had one who we heard barking off and on. One of the windows was completely missing the curtains (yet had a rod)."

"I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel or motel. Trash was all over the place. People were living in one section. There appeared to be drug activity in the parking lot. The clerk told us that they keep tourists away from the "other" people and didn't deny that there was drug activity going on. We did not feel safe enough to stay there and went someplace else that night."

"Staff was great and helpful. The actual room was terrible and dirty. I don't think it was really the staff's fault. Management needs to get their act together and they need to hire better housekeeping, or hire housekeeping period. There were giant roaches (?) in my room. I wasn't expecting much for a Studio 6—I am no stranger to a motel—but this is abysmal. Don't book here."
