On this site from 1800-1900 Shakers called this beautiful farm home. raising cattle, making wooden furniture, and preaching. This was their lake and wall to partition their land from the next farm. This is a wonderful village, vibrant with artisans during the summer where you can learn crafts, buy locally made products, and participate in events. The room was clean. We loved the unusual shape of the hotel. The restaurant is beautiful. We were close to everything we wanted to do for a great price and excellent atmosphere staying in a hotel with character.
