"We had tickets to see Super Furry Animals in Cardiff and decided staying outside of the city was better value - a lovely room, free parking and a delicious breakfast. It was only a 15 minute drive into Cardiff. Our only issue was that we were awoken at 6am on Sunday morning by the people staying next door - I think they must have had an early flight and were heading to the airport - I can't think why else you would be awake so early on a Sunday!"

"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

"The receptionist was kind enough to let us park our car while we went up to Sugarloaf early in the morning. All the staff are very friendly. We had our dinner at their restaurant. Fish and chips lovely and cooked breakfast was very nice. Lovely view of the mountain from our bedroom. Room is very spacious,nice and clean. Bathroom is lovely and clean. Looking forward staying here again."

"A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. "
