"This was our third stay here and it didn't feel as good this time. Room was nice but would have benefited from a deep clean. Pool is great but jacuzzi was out of order and every time we collected a pool key card it didn't work and we had to traipse back to reception. Breakfast options are good, but things ran out and were slow to be replenished, only one coffee machine was working so a big queue, and our table wasn't cleared in the whole time we sat there. Location is helpful as there is parking and then various bus services into the city, or it's a nice walk along the river. Staff very friendly but alot of them were new and unsure of how to do things. "

"Ordinarily a very impressive hotel (4th stay in as many years) however on this occasion we were left thoroughly disappointed. Shower faulty in the room which led to the bathroom flooding alongside a failure with the lift leading us to be stuck in the lift meant the whole experience was terrible"

"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! The guy behind the counter was apologetic and turned it off. However it was on again at 6am!! So my advice to anyone thinking of staying in this hotel is to ask for one of the rooms in the outhouses NOT the main hotel, if you want some sleep anyway!"

"Great location. Close to the punting locations. Tight halls and long hike with multiple stairs to our room. Other hotels had loaner electrical adapters but here they didn’t. They only sell them but were out when I needed one. Room was clean enough but as cold as the staff."
