"Staff was very nice and helpful-especially with being bilingual! Pods themselves and storage area was kept well. If you are a light sleeper you can hear everything little thing, from your pod neighbor opening their doors, to lockers opening, main door opening and shutting, as well as noise from other above and below you. Bathrooms were tried to be maintained but multiple toilets clogged and tended to be dirty on toilets and water always on floor. There was a deep clean of bathrooms over night but unsure of the cleaning process during the day when dirty. Safe location- I had no problems as a female solo traveler."

"Oakes Hotel was wonderful. Yes. The pipes rattled when you had a shower. But the jetted tub was perfect. The view on our upper floor was all we could ask for. Beds clean and mattresses comfortable. Staff delightful. We highly recommend!!! M Devlin Mississauga"

"The property was well kept and very clean. We recently stayed for 2 nights and one of the things that attracted me was the hot tub. The hot tub was closed when we got there and I inquired if it would be open the following day, the front desk advised that it has been closed for a year. I also inquired about directions to get to a particular mall. She gave me vague directions and said I may have to walk alot once off the train. I was not provided any written directions on trains to use or which way to walk once off the train."
