"Clean room"

"The room was small with some basic amenities. Very small area to sit. Air conditioning/heating dated. Bathroom lighting needed update. A very nice restaurant attached to hotel.Very close to Jones Beach. Parking limited (hotel in residential area). Clean room and very welcoming staff. A unique building with some charm. Large park nearby"

"The hotel is an older property, but it was adequate for a brief two-night stay. During my visit, my room door had an issue, though the staff was actively attempting to resolve it. It did appear they might have been a bit short-staffed at the time. The highlight of the location is its proximity to a good local stake house, bagel shop, and an Italian restaurant, where I enjoyed some decent sandwiches. If you are traveling on a strict budget and simply need a basic place to rest, this property...

"CLEAN AND CALM PLACE 10/10"

"So I get to the check in and the lady working there is yammering on facetime with her friend and is so involved in her conversation that she doesnt even look up and greet me for like 30 seconds, then ends her conversation and finally checks me in. Already a bad start. She did ask me if I preferred upstairs or downstairs so hey congratulations you get 2 stars instead of 1. I get into the room and its pretty dark and dingy but I didnt expect much. The thing is, the room had a sort of lingering...

"Since it was just a one night stay with my family we really loved the idea that they placed us in the first floor. The only mishap would be the door going to the gym and the back entrance that it opens simultaneously cause of the cold air coming in and out as well as the rain. But other than that it was a good and restful weekend."
