"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. "Exactly what we wanted"

"We usually stay at The Angel when we’re in Cardiff. We love that it’s not a chain hotel and it has some character. We were disappointed with our room on this visit, it felt a bit claustrophobic."
