"Staff great. Moved rooms because of noise at the back of hotel. New room better but the plug would not close. The web site says breakfast was 10.99 but when I paid for 2 I was charged £27. Would not stay there again"

"Stayed 2 nights visiting family. Ate breakfast and evening meals each day of our stay. Beds so comfortable, air con worked well, quiet room. Restaurant was excellent, food very reasonably priced, served up quickly by very very friendly staff. The Manager and Bar Manager were fantastic a credit to Marston’s. All the waiters and waitresses were amazing. Will definitely return."

"The staff were friendly. Amy from Housekeeping was amazing as we had 2 very young children that had a couple of accidents. There was service with a smile !! Front desk staff were efficient and friendly Breakfast was great"

"The property is in a run down part of Nottingham and quite difficult to find. There was a small sofa in the room with lots of stains, one of the lights in the bathroom didn't work and there is on opening window which made the room feel very clastrophobic. Its not terrible value for money but had it not been for the test match in Nottingham, I would have felt the price too high."

"At this level, Air Conditioning should be provided, especially after our renovation. We knew there was not air-conditioning and the fan helped on very warm night. This was a newly renovated room and several items were omitted or not completed. First of all the shower was designed that would be difficult for most people to get in and out of.
