The location was excellent - easy to walk to most of the big sites from the hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bed was cozy and the AC worked well. Complimentary water was provided on the first night and that was greatly appreciated."

"We had a very lovely 3-night stay at Augustana House April 18-21. The receptionist was fantastic and showed us two rooms to choose from, one having a balcony that overlooked the river. Although the street adjacent to the river is noisy with traffic you could not hear it when the balcony door was closed. The balcony was a nice feature for the room. I requested ice for my drink in the evening and this was provided to me and the next day when reception was not available they left me ice in the...

"This is definitely not your typical hotel…we had a hard time getting in the building bc it’s not a hotel it’s actually like an apartment complex. The room was inside of an actually suite. We had a hard time communicating with someone bc remember this is not a hotel so no personal assistant. The room was okay and clean, central area but I will not consider this for another stay."

"The property was perfect for our needs!! Our daughter is doing a study abroad with SJU. It was a 10-minute walk. Perfect location. Very close to everything. Great local restaurants steps away. I guess I was unprepared to have it be on a third floor apartment. At the time they had scaffolding around the building as well. Which was not their fault of course. Walking in we were pleasantly surprised at how quaint the setup was. They had coffee and tea which was available throughout the day. And...
