"Clean pool, big rooms, very clean property."

"We talked to Dennis for 6 months planning our stay. When we arrived, there was a note on the office door with a number to call. I called the number to find out, Dennis wasn't there, and wasn't going to be there at all for our stay. (When I spoke to him 2 days prior and he never mentioned this or the fact we would be checking ourselves in.) We were told to go on in and our door combination was given to us over the phone. "I loved the property. I did not love being charged $250 for a smoking fee, haven’t smoked in 12+ years. For the majority of the stay I pretty much slept when I was at the property."

"Loved the updated hotel; feels very clean and new! I used all the amenities - hot tub, sauna, etc. Everything was clean and relaxing. Nice to look at Pikes Peak while soaking in the hot tub! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The only slight downside is the availability of parking if you arrive after about 7pm, but the desk staff helpfully pointed out some available spots I hadn't seen. Room was clean, quiet, cozy. I loved it and will definitely return when I go back to Manitou...

"ROOM CONDITION"

"I booked this property based on reviews saying it was a 4.4 out of 5. Not even close to that. One of our rooms had an awful chemical smell so we had to get a different one. The rooms themselves appeared clean but the floors were filthy. The main areas were dirty and the breakfast underwhelming. We had to leave a day early as I had an allergic reaction to something in the room. The staff and manager were accommodating and comped the second night. I've never had an experience like that before and...

"Clean well stocked rooms. Parking is a little tight if a full lot but doable with a few extra turns. Loved my stay had no issues and remote checkin/out was perfect."

"Not many frills but great location and surprisingly quiet. Clean, fridge and air conditioning worked, and you could walk to two good dinner restaurants and Mo’s great breakfast diner. Shuttle to the more touristy area and cog railway is right down the block at daze inn. Recommend !"

"The staff was awesome, and the room was clean. It is an older facility; some wear and tear and outdated items were the norm. There is a fridge in the room, but not a microwave. The breakfast was a very basic continental."

"Some of the front counter staff were rude. The hotel was freezing and several people were complaining. Not enough elevators to handle the amount of traffic in peak season. Breakfasts and happy hour food was rotated every day for three days and then rotated over again. If you’re there for more than three days you may be disappointed. "King suite with kitchen was clean, well stocked with supplies like plates, cutting board, silverware, dish soap, & dishwashing detergent. Room size was impressive and comfortable for family if for traveling with a ton of luggage. Breakfast was good and lots of variety each day. Parking was ample and felt safe."
