"Lovely hotel and conveniently located within the town of Richmond and also as one who arrived by car. Staff was superior. "We arrived at 7:30 pm to a packed full, loud, active lobby. The check in staff person was all business, no friendliness. We had a suite but the room did not have linens for the sofa bed. "We have stayed at this Hyatt multiple times and it has clearly gone downhill since our last stay! No one informed us this hotel is being renovated and it made a big difference in the non-clean state. I booked in advance and should have been told about this as it would've affected my decision to stay there after what we experienced. Even without the construction messes, the staff was not friendly, some were downright rude (as if asking a simple question was awful), the free breakfast was not...

"There was a close to property sell out that should have been noted when I made a reservation as the property was overrun with children and soccer parents. This was impossible.
