"I never saw where breakfast was supposed to be served, the coffee in the room was terrible. I use Green Mountain at home but it tasted totally different, not sure why.
Maid left an envelope for a tip but my room was never cleaned. Wastebaskets were emptied, but bed wasn't made, towels were not picked up or changed.
I asked for ice at the front desk so I could ice a bad foot. It never came in the 2 hours I waited. Asked again when I got back after a cocktail party, finally arrived a 1/2 hour...

"The staff were friendly and very accommodating, which make it easier for my partner and I to have some flexibility in our travel plans. The room was very clean and perfect for us, since we did not need a large room. The surrounding area was safe and had lots of restaurants. Many attractions were walkable. The silver line and subway were next to the hotel. We would stay here again."

"Great location, wonderful desk staff, beautifully presented common areas and a lovely room. Not much more to say as I arrived at 5pm, went out at 6, got in at midnight and then left early the. Ext morning after a short sleep. But… I would stay again in a heartbeat if the price was right! Sadly, the two times I’ve been back to Boston since, the price has been over double the normal, but if you get somewhere under or around 200 bucks, it’s a no-brainier!"

"It was a nice property overall, but I must point out a few items that might be of interest to others.
I was disappointed to learn that the actual property I would be staying in was 0.4 miles away, in a completely different building than the one whose charming facade was pictured in the advertisement.
It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which became tiresome during the 10 days I was there, especially if I had to return for something.

no fridge in the room but small bags of ice worked as needed
Saturday pm the Spy Bar was loud but not bad up on the 5th floor

"Great breakfast and cool vibe. Our room's heating system was loud and blew air uncomfortably, and there was a a leak in the shower stall as well as evidence of a leak in the ceiling. Needs a little maintenance. But the bed was comfy and the kitchenette useful. Staff pleasant and friendly."
