"We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!"

"Absolutely wonderful hotel. Was traveling through so the location was perfect. Ana did an excellent job of making sure she knew when I was arriving made a fantastic breakfast and just was so kind. "This was the best hotel in our Europe tour. Villagge where hotel is, is lovely, small village in the middle of mountains. Room had it's oen kitchen so I could made my own breakfast, which was good cause breakfast was served starting 9.00 am .. I wake up at 4.30 so I couldn't wait that long to get something to eat. 😄 I will come here again.. loved it!"

"We had a great stay at Quinta da Foz. The place is very unique, with history dating back to 16th century. The owner of the place was very welcoming and gave us a private tour around the house. The stay included a breakfast, and we were treated every day to local delicacies and homemade pastries. Delicious!"

"This place was wonderful and peaceful the breakfast was amazing. I would like to let people know there is NO hot tub as Expedia is wrong. So I was disappointed with that because of our long hikes and walking I purposely booked a place that had a hot tub:( but other than that it was a nice stay."
