Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel
Beautiful view of the ocean and very friendly staff. In walking proximity to everything and a short drive to Charlestown. We will definitely be back. 2 negatives- only one elevator was working and it’s slow. Also it’s really loud at night- you can hear the music from the strip but it ends by 11.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District
The hotel is in need of some uplifts - the paint is chipped in the rooms, the carpet is shabby, there were some marks on the wall behind the toilet, etc. The breakfast was great - the evening receptions was great, the staff we met were great but the property is a bit off.
