"Room was nice, only downside was the elevator was down. We had our wedding here and it was nice to be able to stay in the same location. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel hit the spot for our two night stay in Hartford. We were close enough to downtown as well to enjoy the restaurant scene there. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The one bedroom suite was roomy as well. We would stay there again."

"This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"2nd Holiday Inn Express I’ve steyed in this year. I’m fairly confident these building were previously old-age facilities (or possibly hospice centers), as our entire room, including but not limited to the bathroom, had handrails along each wall. Additionally, the bathroom drain was outside the shower in the center of the bathroom floor. "Check in too forever. Then they gave my room to someone else because they didn’t look at first names only last names. Took 30 mins to figure that out. Blankets were terrible, thin pillows, my room was non smoking and smelt like straight up cigarettes. People up listening to music until 3am but around 2pm we got a “noise complaint” for the kids running on the grass area. We stayed here a year ago with no issues hence why we came back. "This place is very old. Everything needs to be updated. Everything in bathrooms need to be replace and room furniture. No elevator, not good for senior and people who can’t take the step."
