"The room and communal areas were very clean, the room was beautiful. A few disappointments, we had no instant coffee in the room only coffee pods with no machine, our chosen breakfast wasn’t available and there was some miscommunication with the menu items, and the shower was very slow draining "

"Free parking easy, friendly staff, literally next to high street where there’s shops/restaurants. Constructive criticism is for such a relatively small outlay the room could be a good budget room. Valance round bed base, peeled off paint touch up. However the shower was not good at all. 3 or 4 shower head holes worked, the remaining water was spouting from the screw on part of shower head and the door was falling apart with trim hanging off and the grout was black in lots of places, spray mould remover would easily rectify this? Was reported but was told no one had ever mentioned this? Bizarre! "

"Ample parking. Great bar area, sitting areas, and nice restaurant. Had an issue with the room, but this was generously upgraded and made the stay 100% better than we could have imagined. Bathrooms were really clean and shower was excellent."

"We have stayed here before and were very happy with our room and the surrounding gardens etc. But the hotel was obviously having issues with their TV's and telephones and was extremely busy so our TV didn't work and we didn't have a phone in our room. The staff tried to be helpful but couldn't rectify the situation. But it is a lovely venue and the breakfast was good."

"Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling. Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin. For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side"
