"The lady in charge of the dining and bar was superb! The lady on reception was excellent. Facilities great and the location spot on! Breakfast was hot and tasty and they even kindly let us in at 9.25am before it closed at 9.30am (we got mixed up with weekend hours). Thank you for a great stay. We will be back. "

But overall we were very impressed with our first stay in a UK Holiday Inn, from the warm welcome at reception and the exceptionally clean room (nice touch was the handwritten welcome note on the bedside cabinet) to the standard of meals at dinner and the overall feel of the hotel. "Everything the staff on were so helpful, had a problem with the first ev changing bay but thankfully there was a spare, what’s annoying is people parking that clearly do not charge their car or have petrol park there because it’s closer to the hotel very frustrating, otherwise was perfect stay"

This is a very traditional grand hotel in the centre of Chester and was beautifully decked out for Christmas, the level of service was top notch, though we were only there for one night we were very well looked after. The carpark with direct access to the hotel was a bonus as was the complimentary continental breakfast, which was delicious and very generous. "
