"Room was very clean , comfy bed , breakfast was not great , very raw looking bacon , sausages undercooked and not very hot.lady at the press cooked my sausages again in the kitchen , and we ordered poach eggs that were fresh. Breaskfast was a let down , but overall stay was good ."

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy access to the train station and a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. Nice twin room and good breakfast options. Staff all friendly. The only downside is parking next to the hotel is convenient but very expensive."

"We have been coming here every year for the last 10 years. Decor hasn’t changed and really is in need of a refurb now. Breakfast was also really disappointing this year, no decent hot drinks unless you paid for them in addition to a hot breakfast. Also VERY surprised having to pay for breakfast before leaving the restaurant (rather than at check out) This used to be the gold standard hotel to stay at for the races but not now I’m afraid."
