"If you are looking for something a bit different for a special stay this place ticks all the boxes. A very peaceful location. The Old Station and carriages are maintained to a very high standard.
The staff were very responsive to any requests. We had a lovely breakfast sitting under sun shades on the platform, as the weather was very warm.
The carriages were cool despite it being 36° as shutters could be closed over the windows. Very comfortable bed."

"Beautiful property in a beautiful place - Pam was lovely and made a real effort with our family and even helped get our belongings back to us after we'd left them! Really appreciated and would go back happily."

"This property is immaculate. The garden was lovely and offers shade and sun. The owner is such a nice gentleman and cannot do enough for the guests. My bedroom was large and comfortable. The shower in the bath was powerful and it makes such a great change to be provided with large bath towels. The bed was very comfy.
The breakfast was great with lots of variety! Fresh fruit and juice as well as a choices of cooked options. Id stay here again in a heartbeat."

"This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming.
The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome.
In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less.
We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area."

"The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service"
