"The spa facilities were pretty good. The room was quite small."

"Beautiful, historical venue. Really special. Additional premium/luxury touches could help elevate it to 5*. It has the potential. Food is great."

"We stayed 4 nights in "the annex" of The Nags Head while attending the Goodwood Revival in Sept. Although the price was crazy expensive at £450 per night for a basic hotel room and breakfast, at the time we booked we couldn't find anything cheaper that was as close to the train and bus station. (It's an easy walk through the historic center, past inviting shops and restaurants.) The "annex" rooms are around the corner from the main in and pub, and the separation was no problem. The area felt...

"Staff were lovely"

"I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. I arrived at 2.30pm, but my...

"Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for.."

"Restaurant and bar and our room was in the very old building which is part of a more modern complex. Room had no heating and we needed it in the evening. Staff were nice when you could find them, too few staff doing too many jobs. Bar was open but couldn't find a bar person to get a drink, too busy serving in the restaurant I think? Had sirloin stake meal for dinner which was not that great considering it was £36pp for a lot of gristle. Booked joint massage well in advance of visit but on the...

"Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!"

"Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good."

"Stayed in their twin room, which was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a full bath and shower space. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We also ate at the pub restaurant and very much enjoyed the food. Big portions! It has convenient parking around the back of the pub which was a bonus. The only thing to be aware of when booking is due to the age of the building, some of the corridors and stairways are a little narrow, so just be aware of that for very...

"We had a fantastic interaction with Matt the owner when we arrived. He told us everything we needed to know about the property and parking, asked if we needed help with our luggage. Told us about breakfast places. Was overall super friendly which was a great start. The room was super clean with towels laid on the bed, tea and coffee waiting with sugar and water and cookies. Bathroom was spotless. There was a welcome letter waiting for us outlining all we needed to know. Great stay. Will...

"Well situated for visiting the sights of Chichester. 10 minutes from the Theatre. Property and furniture in need of some tlc. Patches of missing/scuffed paintwork in bedroom but room clean Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had no hot food. Limited continental. One morning croissants had been overheated - hard and dry."
