For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

"I can't say enough great things about Oltrarno Splendid. It was right in the most perfect location to walk to all things in Florence and the styling, quaint vibe and amazing staff was just top notch. It's more of a bed and breakfast type place and is in a very safe building. A highlight for me was the amazing breakfast available every morning.
