"The Sant'Andrea was perfect for our stay in Santa Margherita. Our room (Miriam) was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. The staff was great and had many suggestions that helped us make the best use of our time in the area. The breakfast items we tried were all excellent and the menu had many options that we didn't try but certainly sounded tasty. In planning our trip to Italy we wanted to visit the Italian Riviera area and decided that Santa Margherita would be a good location giving...

"Nice hotel with a lovely communal area where breakfast is also served. Friendly and helpful staff. The single room I booked was very, very small. No chair, no storage space for bags, tiny washbasin... not really acceptable for the price."

It is not about the range of things, but the quality of the items and general hospitality. While the Hotel is small, I was positively surprised about the pool which was warmed and sports room, which was small but very nice considering the space it has. "

"This place is top notch and you will feel like a million Euros! The terrace, views and location are quintessential Portofino. The spa and breakfast will not disappoint. I needed a place to park and had no issues. The walk to downtown is easy and enjoyable. I would recommend to my closest friends, not just you. ;)"

"Breakfast was great, staff were good and very helpful. It was self serve style, the breakfast room view was beautiful. We only had two days booked, but wished we had more time to spend at this hotel and Rapallo. It was a quick walk to get to the boats to Portofino and we had a gorgeous view with a castle from our room. Outside the hotel is a beautiful promenade to walk to restaurants and around the marina. We hope to visit again, when we come back to Italy the next time from Canada."

"Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again. Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person."
