"The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough!"

"This is a good, clean, modern Cotswold hotel. It’s not until entering the car park that you realise how big it is. The cottage- style rooms are a nice touch and the facilities are clean and modern. Dinner was ok. Staff weren’t especially helpful on Sunday morning when, after missing breakfast and buying coffee in the bar, they couldn’t find even a morsel to eat. Otherwise all very competent"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy and clean room. The craft cocktails and cuisine on site are absolutely next level and far exceeded our expectations for this rural village hotel. Parking on site and all staff were helpful and so friendly. We would definately come back again, we already miss “The George!”"

"Room was very clean and lovely ambience. There wasn’t an iron, tissues or a fridge, which we struggled with and there was no bottled water in the room. Toilet could have done with a deep clean, flushing was poor and sounded broken and the tap kept dripping water out of it. No lock on the bathroom door, and the shutting mechanism didn’t work, faulty. "The online photos failed to live up to the actual accomadations. An Example, the room was smaller then appears in the photo. The patio felt short of the photos and need to be cleaned. The most concerning was the mold in the shower. TV was small and ackwardly placed on the wall for viewing. Positive parking was great and everything was in Walking distance. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Also the staff was friendly."
