"Great staff, really nice and friendly to chat with and hang out in the pub. Cozy rooms but not small or claustrofobic like other "cozy" places are. Nice food and drink options in the pub too. Lovely quiet area to be in for a few nights. "

"Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...

"Room was excellent and location perfect for Cheltenham races. Food (breakfast and dinner) and service great. Accommodation very expensive though and pub was very busy that meant our table for dinner was moved in to bar area and two main courses not available. "Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
