The room was so hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, we had to wet towels and lay them over us to try to make it bearable, the children went between the bed and the floor to try and cool down, we all had little to no sleep. We were told to help ourselves to what was in the fridge, there was 2 tiny cartons of juice...

"The breakfast choices were expansive - including all they could think of to please foreign travelers- however, the eggs were always cold and the pastries were lacking. I would have loved to have had a legit buttery cornetto instead of a soft bready thing that looked like a croissant.
But that is the only complaint I can come up with. The staff was fabulous and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and we loved having aperitivo on the rooftop bar."
