"The staff and grounds were amazing. Loved the garden and the character of Gray’s Court. The bed and mattress in our room are in need of an upgrade as the mattress sagged a bit and the bed frame croaked with every motion."

"This is the sweetest and most endearing spot. The building itself has so many charming old quirks, like many stairs, exposed beams, antique furniture. I loved the location right in the thick of things, though probably not the quietest area if that's a concern. There were biscuits with our in room coffee, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is the best value and size we have ever had on our travels. Highly recommend if you don't require any accessibility accommodations...

Judges Lodgings YorkTrung tâm thành phố
9.2 trên 10, Tuyệt vời, (706 nhận xét)
"The only good thing about this hotel is its location.. Beyond that, the hotel is being run extremely poorly. The management clearly lacks a basic understanding of hospitality and guest service. The cleanliness also needs serious attention, as the overall condition of the hotel falls far below what you would expect. There is a lot of work to be done to bring this property up to an acceptable standard."

"Every time we go to York we stop at Guy Fawkes Inn, and we can’t see this stopping in the future. The staff are warm and courteous, the location perfect, the decor rich and luxuriant, the food sublime and the beer gardens delightful. Whether starting the day with a full English or ending the day with a drink and tucked up in a blanket by one of the beer garden heaters, this beautiful place has it all: charm, character, and a hearty recommendation from us for anyone planning on stopping.
