"We loved our stay! The room was beautifully decorated, the bed a real king sized bed, the renovation thoughtful both in use of space and with beautiful old details left to shine. A plant filled courtyard and intimate breakfast room and lounge. Real glasses for enjoying the cold rosé. A beautiful stay. Add to that a bustling residential neighborhood just outside the tourist center, in the oldest building in Avignon and extremely welcoming hosts! Highly recommended"

"The location is excellent. In the middle of everything. Easy walk from train station. Receptionist Alexandra very helpful. Rooms and hotel could use major renovations. Comfortable enough for one Person. Towels need to be replaced. They are grey and worn. However I would stay again due to its affordable price and excellent location."

"Very clean and mostly friendly staff. However there were a few things that could have been better. First, there were barely any outlets in the room, one in the bathroom and only one in the main room. There were two regular usb's (typeC) so if you had a newer iphone or laptop you could not charge (they are type A) unless you knew and brought usb c adapters. They gave us extension cords which caused a tripping hazard when used across the room. The air conditioner could not be adjusted in the room,...

"Excellent stay at Best Western Plus Avignon – Highly recommended! We just stayed at the Best Western Plus Avignon and overall found it to be a very good hotel in a convenient location. "To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "Rooms were very clean with cold AC. Good kitchenette for longer stays. The issue I had was the attached bathroom is a wet bath, with the shower not being isolated and draining into a central drain in the bathroom. The floor in my room had areas where the water would pool and gradually move to the door, and took hours for the water to dry between the doorway, toilet and sink (sink is opposite the doorway) if not squeegeed. Breakfast is a bit overpriced for what is on offer. Find a local bakery....
