"Staff was great! Young lady at the front desk gave a super reference for a good dinner. She was courteous and very professional. The grounds were lovely and well kept. Room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Best nights sleep is had in days!"

"Overall the stay was okay. Offered everything we needed but have learned booking through a 3rd party apparently doesn’t give contact information to the actual hotel is what we were told. The room we booked weeks ago wasn’t available upon arrival and we already knew everywhere close was already booked due to the multiple events happening in the town and had to just accept the smaller room. We specifically booked a room with a kitchenette and a little more space also due to traveling with a younger child and small dog. Disappointed in the room change and lack of communication prior to. Got the pet fee waived and points to our account to “make it right” but still overall frustrating."

"All computer systems were down. One employee which is ridiculous since it was a very busy weekend in Des Moines and a Friday night. Tomas was that guy and he did an excellent job under significant pressure. Give him a raise and some time off paid."
