"Very elegant, clean and beautiful. We were sorry there was no food or bar service in the off season. But the setting, pool, saunas and hikes made up for that. Plan your food ahead or book when they are serving."

"We had a room, not a cabin. The room was small, and it would benefit immensely from more electrical outlets. I had high expectations going in because the ratings seemed to be really up there, but I hadn't considered or even looked for whether it was room or cabin that I was viewing. Mind you, it was not a bad stay, it was just a little less than what I was expecting."

"All good I suggest you put a sign up in your hot tub area to tell your guests to put that cover back on when they’re done! We took it off, put it on that the next morning it was off again and it was cold other than that get that sauna finished up I’ll be back! Enjoy the day!"

"In Cooke for a 4 day sled trip. For our purpose everything was just fine. Food was pretty good. Staff was helpful enough. Had this been a vacation I would say the place is extremely dated, the rooms are small, the restaurant is only open in 2-3 hour increments, there is no vending or continental breakfast"

"The bathroom fixtures were all about to fall off the wall and all the screws were rusty, the sink had cracks in it and the faucet was barely attached. There were no cups in the room for water or coffee. The beds were comfortable enough, but the sheets (and towels) were stained and thin/ratty. We picked the hotel for the pool and slide, and that was probably the only decent thing about the place."

"My son and I enjoyed the pool at perfect temperatures and didn't have to get in freezing cold water!! The only down side was that the rooms need to be updated"
