"We stay in this hotel every year and we like it for the location, price, room configuration, two bathrooms, and shower water pressure. It's never been really clean and good smelling, but we overlook it for the above reasons. This year the stay was just terrible. The hallway and our room smelled like wet dog. The shower curtain rod in one bathroom was broken so we all had to shower in the same bathroom. Both sink drains were messed up. There was construction happening, so drilling and...

"Elevator out. Pool was closed. Room smelled musty and moldy. Carpet was gross (musty/moldy). There was no hot water. Visible mold throughout. No real lighting in the room. Breakfast was a continental with the option to microwave pancakes. They did give us another room after they saw all the issues. The new room was much better but still had visible mold and the toilet did not work well (running). This place needs to be closed for a full renovation."

"It's not the best but not the worst if you need somewhere to just stay a few days it was nice it was downtown gatlinburg. There was only 1 front desk person we had to wait about 40 mins at the front desk just to check in it was very hot and humid and when you called the number "for assistance" it just calls the front desk phone number so that was pointless. Breakfast was good again was like 1 worker doing everything but she kept up with it."

"It was off of the main drag in gap number but close enough to be able just to walk down the corner the hotel is absolutely beautiful and has been in the family for a very long time. We stayed in the luxury king fives around and it was absolutely beautiful Would definitely recommend this room to anybody that wanted to have a nice wonderful Stay"

"Upon checking in, we were greeted by a wonderful lady. She explained everything and gave clear directions. Our room was “poolside” and I thought that meant we were beside the pool; however, that was not the case. We were on the third floor. Looking down at the pool, we could see that the top of the waterfall that normally flows was full of green algae and trash. The hotel was clean, but it is very dated. "The hotel is off the main road through Gatlinburg. The surrounding area was remarkably quiet, despite the ongoing construction across the street. We walked to and from the hotel to the Aquarium, about 15 minutes. The park was easily accessible from this hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff was courteous, and breakfast was the typical hotel fare. I would definitely stay here again."

"They need to let you know up front before booking that there is a $16 + a night parking fee. That’s is enough to make me look for a different place to stay"
