"Staff were wonderful! Pub is great! Room is clean and livable, but for the life of me i cannot figure out where the mosquitos are getting in. All widows were closed, and we had 30+ mosquitos in our room (and some cute baby geckos). While i understand its queensland and these things happen, they just keep coming! We had room 3. Besides the mossies and the baby gecko guests we had a great stay. "

The rates are decent, it’s conveniently located near Northgate train station, and I do appreciate many of the amenities like free onsite laundry facilities, a mini bar and TV with on-demand movies and shows. But overall, it’s still just…meh. Immediately when I went in my first day, the bathroom in my room, which is very small if you’re getting a studio room like I did, was emitting a very old smell that never fully went away. "Room was very basic,no face clothes,just cups no saucers,no glasses to have a drink.Small bar fridge was on the floor,very difficult for an elderly person to reach and on the opposite end of the scale,the hand basin was so high that it nearly touched my chin."
