"Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return."

"The Sloop Inn is in a convenient location to explore the area. The bedroom was small and had too much furniture; the two chairs took up all the space left in the room to move around, open a suitcase. The only power sockets were behind the bed. In order to plug in my phone and other chargers, I had to pull the bed away from the wall about 15cm in a room that was already too small. The bathroom sink light did not work. The staff were great."

"Good location with ample parking. Good variety of food and drink.
Unfortunately the bar closes too early at night, maybe that's the law in Wales!
Could do with extra help at breakfast as the service was a bit slow when there are many people waiting to be served."
