"Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. Two things to note: there is no elevator, but the staff will take your bags upstairs if you need the help. If you are someone who is...

"We usually stay here when in Cambridge. I think this was our first visit under new ownership. The place was great as usual. The staff were friendly but clearly stretched too thinly. We waited in the bar for service and eventually went elsewhere. The wait for breakfast to arrive was around 40 mins. It proved difficult even getting clean cutlery. When asked about our stay at checkout, we mentioned the slow service but got no response or enquiry suggesting it was a well recognised problem."

"We had a fabulous stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable and quirky. Lovely to sit by the river and enjoy some delicious cocktails. Bar staff were lovely and even gave my hubby a Birthday drink which was a great touch. Finished off with a swim, jacuzzi and steam room. Very enjoyable stay!"

"Property looked lovely from the photos and was expensive enough for us to anticipate something a bit special. Fabulous location right next to all the activities we had planned. Gardens were lovely and it was nice to sit having breakfast in the conservatory looking out on to them. The rest was sadly disappointing however. Drab interior needed re-decorating. Leaves all over the carpet in the hall outside our room which did not get hoovered up in two days and in fact got worse as the weekend...

"Friendly helpful staff, great amenities, lots of seating areas, in room air con was fantastic, great breakfast options, 10 minute taxi into central Cambridge, wonderful stay."

"There are no useful amenities and the ones advertised aren’t really: the bar is a desk that never seems to be open no draft beer etc. the swimming pool was locked up with a comdnation lock that we were not given the code to on arrival and the nearest pub is 30 minutes away over fields however it was a very nice pub to eat & drink. When we arrived there was no one there and the door to the reception was not opened until 16:00 on the dot by the receptionist who was in there all along."

"The hotel was situated in town centre. Walkable to the river, local attractions and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and they have a small spa located next door which we used one morning. We did not eat breakfast there so unable to comment on food, the rooftop bar was lovely for drinks. Our door was difficult to open but staff were helpful and efficient."
