"Rooms were very spacious and modern. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with a wide variety of options. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Pradeepan the duty manager, who arranged a late check out for us and Afzal for handling our luggage with care. "

"I have stayed here before and really liked it but this time it was not as good. The shower was poor. The towels were not as good as before. They didn’t want to provide extra water like they did before. Just little things felt off."

"We loved our stay at Granbell, the hotel is stunning the staff are amazing and overall we had a lovely time. We also booked in for a spa treatment which was brilliant as the room overlooked the sea and it was amazing. "

"The hotel in general is excellent however they run very loud club style events in the outside restaurant until 1am to 2am and any room facing the lake is almost shaking with the noise, so if you stay and don’t want to party then ask for a room not facing the lake. Zero sleep had after a long haul flight from uk and with early train next day so felt like a very expensive sleepless night. "
