"This is a charming little hotel in a great position just off Las Ramblas and convenient for shopping and attractions.. The staff noticed our arrival by taxi and came out to greet us and take our suitcases. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The decor was first class, with antique pieces in keeping with the colonial theme and very well done. Our ground floor room was ready for occupation at around 10.30 and we had a large room and enormous shower roof. Would have liked a shelf for our bits and pieces and some drawers but these were minor problems. The bar was good with a knowledgeable and competent bar man. I really liked the decor. Breakfast was good value but more 3* than 4* I felt. Despite the small niggles, I would recommend this hotel and we enjoyed our stay there."

"Honestly, with the exception of one service person at breakfast, the staff have all the warmth and charm of slightly overworked border control people. The room's floors needed some cleaning, but otherwise clean and well stocked. Breakfast was okay. The location is amazing... Noisy neighbours in the courtyards but that's a bit to be expected, but better curtains and windows wouldn't be a bad idea... Overall was a bit underwhelmed... What's funny is, underwhelmed again as this was our second stay here (convenience sake) but won't be back ourselves. "

"Absolutely amazing hotel. Location, the rooms were big, super clean and they thought of everything you could absolutely need when staying on vacation. The bathrobes were so soft. The bed was super comfortable. The pillows were excellent. I love the fact that I had a safety deposit box plus an elevator. The staff was super friendly. The location and overall feel of the hotel was very convenient and the interior was clean modern and had a spa like feel. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Nice little hotel. In the backstreet but close to La Rambla and sea front. Rooms quite small with bathroom by window in room, with a curtain across. No view . Nice rooftop bar but pool is a small paddling pool. Room very clean ."
